JVA to Recognize Players on the 2017 JVA Beach Watch List

The JVA is excited to announce that nominations for the JVA Beach Watch List will open on April 17th. JVA Beach Watch List recognizes JVA beach players who are expected to be among the best in their age division this juniors beach season. New this year are additional perks from NVL Rize and SandRecruits for players selected to the JVA Beach Watch List.

JVA Executive Director Jenny Hahn states "JVA is excited to have the National Volleyball League (NVL) as supporters of the JVA Beach Watch List. The NVL has a solid history of seven years hosting their Pro Tour. With the addition of the NVL RIZE Junior Tour and NVL Academy, they have shown a commitment to quality events for junior beach athletes. We are excited to be able to offer the talented athletes that are selected by their clubs for the JVA Beach Watch List resources, education and opportunities to further their beach careers."

Players eligible for selection are in graduating classes 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Players nominated should compete in junior beach tournaments in the 2017 juniors beach season, and have aspirations to potentially pursue beach volleyball at the collegiate level.

Each JVA member club can nominate up to 6 players per age division. The nomination must be submitted by the player's club director from a JVA member club. If you are not a member and would like to join email members@jvavolleyball.org.

Selections will be accepted from April 17th - May 31st. All eligible players nominated for the Watch List will be selected.

The JVA Beach Watch List will be announced June 12th, 2017.

Honorees will receive :

  • A one year subscription to Sand Recruits for $24.99 (82% discount)
  • A 20% discount to the NVL College Ready Camp and Global Challenge Junior National Championships
  • A JVA/NVL visor
  • Educational tutorials
  • Special recognition and awards at the NVL College Ready Camp in front of college coaches

The Junior Volleyball Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the junior volleyball experience for players, coaches, clubs and fans.
